JWS IQ 2026 Members-Only Calendar

JohnWallStreet’s Intelligence Quorum (aka JWS IQ), our high-end membership community, was created to help sports and media’s senior leaders see around corners and skate to where the puck is headed before it arrives.

To that end, we have designed a year-long programming cadence, that includes newsletters, podcasts, thematic research reports, and live events, to deliver clear signals and foster meaningful relationships between the most influential owners, investors, and operators.

JohnWallStreet released its ’26 Tentpole Event calendar in November. We’re now sharing our slate of IQ-exclusive events to support internal planning, budgeting, and travel decisions.

The calendar below includes three formats. Each serves a distinct purpose in how members will inform future decisions, strengthen peer connections, and pressure-test strategy:

• Tentpole Convenings
  Intimate, off-the-record ~100-person gatherings bringing together JWS IQ members and a select group of carefully curated guests from across the industry for candid discussion and high-level networking

• Small-Room Lunches & Dinners
  Member-exclusive conversations over a shared meal; limited to approximately 20 participants and anchored by a featured guest drawn from the IQ community.

• Monthly Virtual Calls

  Members-only briefings focused on emerging trends, market dynamics, and timely industry developments; led by a sector expert from within the IQ community.

Existing members will recognize our continued investment in several core thematic tentpoles (see: media, college sports, mixed-use real estate development, youth sports, and blockchain). Each remains in active evolution, and JWS IQ is designed to help community participants navigate what’s changing and what comes next.

At the same time, we’re also introducing new themes to reflect where the industry is headed.

So, what’s new for ’26?

• Tentpole events focused on premiumization of the live event experience and using AI to drive incremental revenues

• The launch of a Female Front Office Forum, spotlighting innovative and influential women executives across sports and media–and leaders (male and femdriving women’s sports forward

• An expanded small-room format, with the addition of intimate member lunches alongside exclusive dinners—and now hosted in more convenient Midtown locations

• Former Fox Sports President Bob Thompson will be co-hosting our quarterly “State of the Media Union” virtual calls alongside Pat Crakes

Members are encouraged, but not required, to attend as many events as possible to maximize learnings and meaningful interactions with this incredible group. Those unable to make a given event can always consume sessions of interest in our private Circle platform at their convenience.

Speaking of members, two of ours were named presidents of big four clubs earlier this month. It's not a coincidence that individuals in IQ, who are actively looking to get smarter on the industry and networking in the right circles, are the ones landing the most desirable roles.
