Announcing the Sports Blockchain Summit Lineup
JohnWallStreet and Sporting Crypto are teaming up to host the Sports Blockchain Summit on May 28 in New York City.
Our goal is to help rights owners and brand partners better understand what blockchain is and how it can positively impact their businesses.
Alexis Ohanian Sr. is going to headline the event. JohnWallStreet will sit down with the 776 founder to discuss why blockchain is important and why sports executives should be paying attention to developments in the space.
The loaded program will also feature conversations on the following topics:
Building community in sport using blockchain with Dave Nemetz (co-founder, Bleacher Report)
Should sports properties be holding cryptocurrencies on the balance sheet with Eric Grubman (former EVP, NFL; chairman, Super Group Holding Company) and Ben Wiener (CEO, Benaiah Capital)
The biggest trend nobody is paying attention to–real world assets moving onchain with Nico Le Jeune (CEO, Courtyard.io)
How blockchain is helping to solve sports’ ‘invisible fan’ problem with Preeti Shetty (CEO, UpShot Systems; Director, Brentford FC), Shripal Shah (former Washington Redskins CSO; CDO, Next League), and Sandy Khaund (CEO, Credenza)
Web3 gaming and the value it can drive for rights owners with John Linden (CEO, Mythical Games) and Jamie King (CMO, Minutes Network; co-founder, Rockstar Games)
How blockchain ticketing can improve the fan experience with David Lane (CEO, SI Tickets) and Happy Walters (CEO, Catalyst Sports & Media)
The Sports Blockchain Summit will largely be an invite-only event (for JohnWallStreet IQ members and a select group of sports tech and blockchain/crypto leaders). There are a handful of seats available for purchase here.
As always, the conversation will be off record so guests can speak openly. The only way to catch the insights is to be in the room.
If you would like to partner with us on the event, reach out to Jacie Brandes at [email protected].
We’ll be back with regularly scheduled programming on Tuesday.
