Announcing the Fall '25 Sports & Media Huddle Lineup

JohnWallStreet is excited to announce the speaker lineup for its Fall ‘25 Sports & Media Huddle on September 10. The biannual tentpole event will feature candid conversations with trio of industry leaders and disruptors driving transformation.
David Preschlack (CEO, FanDuel Sports Network) will join us for a 45-minute-deep dive on the future of regional sports networks and direct-to-consumer strategies. The interactive session will provide insights into the shifting economics of local sports media rights.
Jared Orton (President, Savannah Bananas) will unpack how the minor league organization has built a viral, fan-first baseball experience that blends sport and entertainment to drive national attention and sold-out crowds. His session will touch on the business of showmanship, the value of community building, and how to go about engaging next-gen sports fans.
Scott O’Neil (CEO, LIV Golf) will discuss how the challenger league is working to reshape golf’s landscape through bold innovation, global expansion, and a reimagined fan experience. He’ll cover LIV’s business model, its long-term commercial vision, and what the property’s experience to date suggests about the future of sport and the chances of success for other new/emerging leagues.
As always, all of the conversation will be off record so our guests can speak openly.
The Fall Huddle will draw 100 of sports and media’s most influential decision makers for a morning of smart conversation and meaningful relationship building. Many of those in attendance will be JohnWallStreet IQ members. The remainder will be invited guests and partners.
You can apply for an invitation here. If you value exposure in front of this influential audience and want to partner with us on the Huddle Series, reach out to Jacie Brandes at [email protected].
We’ll have one more announcement on Thursday before returning with regularly scheduled programming next Tuesday.
